My Opinion Piece

Climate change has been going on for about 30 years now, it's a bad thing and we need to change that. First of all, we need to start a change because our country may or may not get covered in water from the sea levels that rise and in 10 years or so that might be what happens. We’re also putting Arctic animals at risk and basically animals in general. The way the climate has changed has had a major effect on the Arctic: it is causing the ice to melt because of how warm it is and it’s supposed to be freezing but it's hot enough to melt the ice and that is putting polar bears and penguins in danger because if there's no ice for them to live on, then they basically are dead. Another reason why it's bad for the Arctic is because the ice melting is making the sea levels rise, which is bad. Scientists are confident that global temperatures will rise for decades.

I think we could make a change for starters maybe slowly reducing greenhouse gases until we fully put releasing them to a stop and another thing we could do is learning how to live in the conditions that we already live in. Another way we could reduce climate change is by using electric cars and more fuel efficient cars; the electric cars just need to be charged and fuel efficient cars use less gas and release less gas because they are fuel efficient. Recycling could also do a massive part in this. For example, if everyone recycled it would do a better job than one person recycling. Yes, it would still help but it would be a bigger help if everyone joined in.

I thought the article was stupid cause the words were too hard for me to read because of the font, It just made it hard for me to read so I only read a little bit of it cause it made me have a headache.

Tupaia the navigator

Tupaia was a navigator, He was a Polynesian who travelled with Captain Cook and used stars to navigate the way to places. He was a very skilful artist and he was also a tattooist. Tupaia was fluent in many different languages including English . Tupaia has not been acknowledged for his part in cook journey to Aotearoa
 

Equity

This term we have been looking at equity. Equity is Fairness. Im looking at Anxiety with Dana. We have just started. I think a lot of people suffer from anxiety and it can be life changing. I need to find out more to answer the question to find one thing that i can do to make it more fair for students at college.

Dangerous Journeys to school

My journey to school is unlike most others. I takes three hours to get to school from my house. First I need to pack my bag and get ready for school. Once I leave with my dad we have to go down a long dark shadowy forest of trees. Next we have to go over this terrifying broken down bridge that's only just hanging on this one thick piece of wire. As I cross the bridge I keep my legs high just in case there's something lurking below. Slowly, I walk along the bridge, clinging for my life. 

I look down and all I see is crocodiles trying to clamp onto my feet. I’m so scared I look over my shoulder fearfully and I see a little girl get pulled down by on of the biggest crocodiles. I just make it to the end of the bridge thankfully I survive the it again but I still have to do it one more time today.
